Reviews of Nosler M-48 Liberty in 280 Ai
I program on getting a new rifle this year. I'm wanting a burglarize that I can utilize for life. I would mainly deer hunt with information technology simply would also use it for mule deer, elk, or antelope. I'k a left handed shooter which narrows the options tremendously. However, I have been looking into NOSLER rifles and I really like the looks of them.
Has anyone here owned, shot, seen a Nosler burglarize? If and so any reviews or info?
My son just got one in .300 Mag. Beautiful gun. Has shot information technology just a little to sight information technology in but loves it and so far. He was pretty tight at 200 Yards.

Sugariness, did you get information technology from a dealer? If so where?
I have a Ruger m77 in 7mm that I plan on using for life for anything in North America except browns bears. Information technology'll shot sub i" groups at 100 yards and was nowhere nearly the cost of a nosler burglarize. Personally, I would love to have a Nosler rifle, simply will probably never purchase one because I wouldn't want to put a rifle that pretty through the **** my vii goes through. I've customized it a lot and love the await of information technology merely every bit much as if not more than the Nosler rifles.
Only handled one so far.
Nice looking, soft shooting, accurate.
Depending on your other options, I would rate information technology a "Purchase"
At that place are a couple of dealers on Gunbroker that sell well below retail. The one I shot was the M48 Liberty, cerakote over stainless, with the synthetic stock
Sweet, did you get it from a dealer? If so where?
Found information technology in Cabela'due south gun room. Had it shipped from Ohio store and he decided to buy it.
I accept two Nosler rifles. 1 is a 35 Whelen and has the synthetic stock. The other is a 7mm-08 and is the Heritage version with the wood, which is nicely figured. Don't remember they brand a 7mm-08 any longer.
I love both rifles. Both shoot actually well - sub-moa with factory ammo, better with handloads. The 35 Whelen shoots 225g Federal TBBCs so well I don't fifty-fifty handload for information technology.
Definitely a recommend. I purchased both online and had them shipped to my FFL. Both well beneath retail and Bill from dealers. Bank check out Gunbroker, etc. Heck, just exercise a google search and see who has the best price on what you are interested in. I ain a lot of rifles and volition definitely purchase a Nosler once again.
nosler and bergera both make good guns for the toll. I shot a bergera 308 a few weeks ago and it was right with guns that are much more expensive.
Bergara rifles are made in Georgia
Except for the ones fabricated in Spain....
I've had a Nosler Trophy Form in 280 AI for near 5 years at present - really well put together rifle. It'due south a one-half-inch grouping rifle with Nosle custom ammo. Haven't started tinkering effectually reloading for it - even so. Haven't had to since it shoots factory ammo and then well. It'south a solid rifle - I've shot 3 elk with it, a friend has used it to kill 2. Plus several deer. I ready scope and adult loads for another guy's 7mm-08 Nosler Heritage. Information technology was solid as well. From the two I've had my hands on, I'd say go for it.
Elkbane
I want one in left hand, my dream custom is the forest light-green with the burnt bronze cerakote barrel. Yet this would run me nigh $iv,000 which isn't going to happen.
Check out East.R Shaw. I had this i built and with all the options it only ran $1500. She's chambered in 280 Ackley Improved.

This is my first "Mutiny" and commencement burglarize I e'er spent more than $350 on. Did a lot of research on calibers. Hate heavy recoil and the 280 AI is close to 7mm magazine without the recoil and less pulverisation. The 280 AI but really got my interest. Going to Vermont this fall to hunt acquit and whitetail with an old friend
